![]() ![]() ![]() It comes with great horses of the 1990s, but the screens and graphics are primitive and cartoonish to the point of being ridiculous. I am very underwhelmed by the computer game. the idea was enhanced realism as the original game, for all the individual horse ratings, was basically just luck of the dice roll and limited track position determining the winner. I liked the idea that Gary Stishan had done the programming and incorporated all the optional rules that he had adopted in the supplements to the board game he had been branding as All-Star Racing Games (which are or used to be available at Table-Top Sports Games). I am an owner of the original board and dice game (with the 1973 and all-time great card sets) and always loved the game, as it was basically the only thing out there that made any pretense to simulating real horse races with the real horses. For my last birthday in September my wife and kid honored my request and shelled out the $35 for the APBA Saddle Racing computer game. ![]()
